You can download the current version (1.4) of the installation file (~600kB) from here.

Unzip the file into a directory of your choice. The subfolder "Cyfer-1.4" will contain all necessary files.

Installation

Prepare existing keyrings
You need keyrings created by an OpenPGP-compatible application on your desktop PC (see the requirement page for tested applications).
Prepare device
Use the file manager to create a new directory "C:\Cyfer" on the device. Use the file manager (or Nokia PC Suite) to copy your prepared key rings into this directory on the device.
The keyring names are "pubring.gpg" and "secring.gpg" by default; you can either rename your prepared keyrings to match the default or you can edit "C:\Cyfer\Cyfer.properties" to match your specific keyring filenames. The later is preferred if you want to synchronize keyrings from the PC to the device by a simple copy operation.
Install Cyfer
You can install the application by using the Nokia PC Suite or by copying the file to the memory card and than selecting the file in the file manager. If in doubt, consult the Nokia documentation on installing Java software.
Please note: Loading and installing the application can take some time - please be patient. During the installation you will get a notice that the application has no valid signature and cannot be verified. This is correct because I have not registered (and signed) the application.
